Squid Game actor Lee Byung-Hun has home smashed in and ransacked: Report

South Korean actor and Squid Game star Lee Byung-Hun fell victim to Los Angeles crime after his home was purportedly smashed in and ransacked.

The break-in was discovered after an employee for Lee visited the actor’s Los Angeles home and found that its sliding glass door had been broken, TMZ reported Monday.

Lee, 53, was not home when the break-in occurred, and it has not been confirmed if any items were taken from the celebrity’s house as authorities are waiting for Lee to return home and examine his belongings, the report noted.

Lee is not believed to have been specifically targeted, as burglary crews have become fond of roaming and robbing homes in wealthy Los Angeles neighborhoods, police said.

Last week, at least two home invasions saw either residents injured or SWAT officers called.

A resident in the Larchmont neighborhood was hurt on Tuesday when a gang of three burglars broke into her home, demanded property, and pillaged the residence before fleeing, the Los Angeles Police Department said.

Similarly, the LAPD deployed a SWAT team to a home in the Sherman Oaks neighborhood on Thursday after a crew of suspects smashed their way into an empty home and barricaded themselves inside.

No arrests have been reported following the break-in at Lee’s residence.
