Former President Donald Trump is holding a campaign rally in North Charleston on Wednesday, ahead of the South Carolina Republican presidential primary.
Trump has a massive lead over former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley in her home state, according to a new poll released by Winthrop University. Among South Carolina voters, 65% would support Trump, compared to Haley’s 29%.

Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC), who has been floated as an option for Trump’s vice president in 2024, is set to appear alongside the Republican front-runner. Trump is expected to speak at 7 p.m. Eastern.
