MTG slams lack of COVID-19 compensation: ‘Not a doctor, but I have a PhD in recognizing bulls***’ – Washington Examiner

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) harshly criticized the United States government’s failure to compensate victims of COVID-19 vaccine injuries, describing it as “bulls***.”

The Georgia lawmaker made the statement during a congressional hearing on Thursday, during which Dr. Peter Marks, director of the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research within the Food and Drug Administration, said the COVID-19 vaccine was responsible for saving about 3.2 million lives in the U.S. Greene was especially critical of Marks for “rushing” the authorization of the COVID-19 vaccine for children while numerous side effects and injuries were reported when testing it.

“I’m not a doctor, but I have a Ph.D. in recognizing bulls*** when I hear it,” Greene said.

I’m not a doctor, but I have a PhD in recognizing bullshit.

There have been over 1 million VAERS reports for vaccine injuries and deaths caused by the experimental COVID vaccines.

As of Jan 1, 2024, only 11 victims have been compensated.

Greene said only 10,640 claims requesting compensation for COVID-19 vaccine-related injuries are in review, even though the vaccine resulted in over 86,000 hospitalizations. She also noted that only 11 claims had been properly compensated as of Jan. 1.

Marks apologized to those viewing the congressional hearing following Greene’s criticism of mandating the vaccine for children.

Following Greene’s remarks, Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA) apologized to those attending the hearing, claiming that “a lot of conspiracy theories and wild accusations” were being spread about the COVID-19 vaccine, even though these had been “debunked by medical science.”

Greene has been vocal about her criticism of the COVID-19 vaccine and related injuries, criticizing House Republicans’ investigation into the origins of COVID-19 and saying her fellow lawmakers should instead investigate adverse reactions to mRNA vaccines. She argued that “we all know” that COVID-19 originated from “a Chinese lab in Wuhan” and that vaccines have “hurt or killed thousands of Americans.”

Last month, data revealed that vaccinations in the U.S. and across the globe have been steadily decreasing. The downtick in vaccinations has been blamed on “vaccine fatigue” in the wake of COVID-19 lockdown policies.
