State of the Union 2024 bingo: Fill out as you watch – Washington Examiner

President Joe Biden is set to deliver his third State of the Union address, and you can join in the fun as the president gives his annual speech.

For added entertainment, while watching Biden’s fourth address to a joint session of Congress, play along with the Washington Examiner‘s bingo card for the 2024 State of the Union address.

Play bingo with the Washington Examiner as President Joe Biden gives his 2024 State of the Union address to Congress in Washington, D.C., on Thursday, March 7.

The bingo card includes phrases the president may say when delivering his remarks, including “MAGA Republicans,” a reference to the president’s term for Republicans linked to former President Donald Trump, “look here folks,” likely to come up when he touts his accomplishments, and “malarkey,” one of the president’s favorite words to use.

Because the address comes months ahead of the November presidential election, it could be Biden’s last unless he is able to convince voters he deserves another four years. The president will likely make his pitch for why he is a better choice than “the other guy,” which is one of the bingo spots, and may discuss key election topics such as abortion, with a bingo spot dedicated to if Biden references the now-overruled Roe v. Wade decision.

The bingo card also includes spots for things that may be seen during Biden’s address.

Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ) attended Biden’s 2023 address wearing a bright yellow dress, so a spot has been reserved for if the Arizona independent makes another fashion statement in 2024 by being the brightest dressed.

Vice President Kamala Harris and House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) will be seated behind the president as he speaks, and spots on the bingo card have been reserved for their potential actions. One spot is reserved for if Harris, who loves to laugh, laughs for a bit too long, while another spot has been reserved for if Johnson, one of Biden’s chief critics, cracks a smile.

The bingo card has a free play in the center, but another spot almost guaranteed to be played is the one for when Biden inevitability says, “The state of the union is strong.” The line has become a tradition for presidents to say, with President Gerald Ford famously diverting from the statement in 1975 to say the state of the union was “not good.”

Biden’s State of the Union address is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. EST from the Capitol Building. You can watch it here.
