Joe Rogan slams The View as a ‘rabies-infested henhouse’ – Washington Examiner

Podcast host Joe Rogan poked fun at The View on a recent episode of his show, comparing the hosts to a “rabies-infested henhouse.”

Rogan was discussing The View with author Coleman Hughes, who said he was antagonized during a segment to promote his new book, The End of Race Politics: Arguments for a Colorblind America.

“It is the show that people love to hate,” Rogan said on The Joe Rogan Experience. “They get so much hate watching and hate watching viral clips of them saying ridiculous things. I mean, it is a rabies-infested henhouse.”

Hughes agreed, noting how many viewers of the show seemed to be on his side of the argument. Hughes had explained that people ought to treat each other “without regard to race” if they wish to fix racial inequality, to which co-host Sunny Hostin claimed the author was using an argument that “the Right has co-opted.”

In reflecting on his appearance, Hughes noted that the show is “undoubtedly” entertaining. He also stated he believed Hostin had entered the interview with an agenda to portray him as someone with right-wing beliefs.

“And I don’t know how much research she had done into me,” Hughes said. “She claimed to have read my book twice, which almost certainly not true.”

Rogan stated that he thinks Hostin herself is “very intelligent” but that she has been “ideologically captured.” He also described several of the other hosts as “dull-minded” but that Hostin herself was not one of them.
