Vice President Kamala Harris is delivering the keynote address at the Service Employees International Union Convention at 12:05 p.m. in Philadelphia.

The union describes itself as a “union of about 2 million diverse members in healthcare, the public sector and property services who believe in and fight for our Vision for a Just Society: where all workers are valued and all people respected—no matter where we come from or what color we are.”

The speech is another example of President Joe Biden’s campaign outreach to union workers and to Pennsylvanians whose vote could be critical to Biden or former President Donald Trump in the swing state.

Trump led Biden by 2.2% in a Monday polling average of Pennsylvania.
