Alec and Hilaria Baldwin announce reality TV series coming next year – Washington Examiner

Actor Alec Baldwin and wife Hilaria shared an announcement that their family with seven children will be featured in a reality television series on TLC next year.

“We’ve got an exciting announcement to share! Coming in 2025,” Baldwin wrote in an Instagram post on Tuesday.

“We’re inviting you into our home to experience the ups and downs. The good, the bad, the wild and the crazy,” Baldwin said in his social media video announcement.

The announcement video shows the chaotic nature of the Baldwin home, with children screaming, running around, and playing with toys, as well as attempts to wrangle the children for the video announcement.

The Baldwins have been married since 2012 and have received recent media attention for their various scandals.

Hilaria Baldwin came under fire in recent years for her fake Spanish accent despite having been born in Boston as Hillary Lynn Hayward-Thomas with no known Spanish ancestry.

The announcement video featured her talking about the show with an American accent, which led to many comments roasting her for a change in accent.

“Where did her accent go? And now she has like a little girl voice. I’m so confused,” one woman said on the Instagram post.

“Are there going to be subtitles for the native English speakers?” another person quipped.

“You would think it would be on Telemundo, no?” another person joked.

Alec Baldwin has been navigating his own legal troubles with his involvement in the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins during a rehearsal on the set of the film Rust in October 2021. He has pleaded not guilty to an involuntary manslaughter charge. The 66-year-old actor’s trial is set to begin in July.

“Legal fees must suck,” a person remarked on his Instagram post.

“For people who claim to hate paparazzi, this is really bizarre,” another Instagram user said.

In January 2023, Hilaria Baldwin begged the press outside their Greenwich Village home to respect the family’s privacy after her husband had been charged with involuntary manslaughter. She confused many people in the media and on social media when she once again spoke with a Spanish accent.

Last November, the Baldwins had teased that they were “pitching” the family reality show. They said they wanted it to be similar to Keeping Up with the Kardashians and that it “would be a comedy.”

Alec Baldwin claimed that they would only do the television show if “it was an authentic portrayal of who they are as a family.”
