With 100% of the official vote count confirmed, the regional elections for the Cortes of Aragón on February 8, 2026, send a clear and unvarnished message. The PP wins, Vox achieves a historic surge, and both traditional and radical left forces collapse like never before. There is no room for half-truths: Aragón has spoken, and its message is unmistakable.

Jorge Azcón’s PP secures 26 seats and roughly 34% of the vote. It loses two deputies compared to 2023, yes, but retains leadership and proves it remains the community’s primary political force. The early election did not give the absolute boost they sought, but it allows them to hold the reins and govern with a solid majority. The people of Aragón have rewarded stability, order, and responsible management.

But if there was a clear winner of the night, it was Vox. The party doubles its representation, reaching 14 seats and nearly 18% of the vote. This surge is no accident: it reflects the frustration of thousands of Aragonese fed up with empty ideological speeches, policies imposed from Madrid, and the left’s negligence on matters that truly matter. Vox consolidates as the third political force, decisive, firm, and uncompromising, capable of steering the legislature and pushing the right toward policies of security, family, and institutional respect.

The combined total of PP and Vox reaches 40 seats, well above the absolute majority of 34. Jorge Azcón’s investiture is guaranteed, but with a renewed dynamic: Vox is not a mere partner—it is the engine of a political shift that proves Aragón wants order, responsibility, and real solutions, not empty ideology or social experiments.

LOOK:

The left, meanwhile, suffers a historic blow. The PSOE falls to 18 seats, losing five compared to 2023, marking its worst result in decades. Pilar Alegría and her team pay the price for a strategy disconnected from the real problems of families, small business owners, and rural communities. Mediocrity and dependence on Madrid now translate into numbers that speak for themselves.

Even more dramatic is the collapse of the radical left. Podemos disappears from the regional parliament, and Sumar is reduced to a minimal presence, with IU holding just a single seat. The disappearance of these parties confirms what everyone already knew: citizens punish confrontation, sectarianism, and social engineering. Neither the regionalist Aragón Existe, which falls to two deputies, nor CHA, which slightly improves, can stop the bleeding of the progressive bloc.

LOOK:

The message from the Aragonese people is crystal clear: enough of ideological impositions, moral relativism, and contempt for law and family. Aragón chooses policies that prioritize responsibility, individual freedom, and the defense of institutions. The left has been defeated by its own disconnection, and Vox emerges as the reference point for those unwilling to compromise on values or public order.

The political consequences are evident. Aragón confirms the exhaustion of the progressive project and the urgency of a firm alternative that defends society as a whole. When the left ignores reality, erodes the law, and trivializes the family, the people respond. This time, Aragón has responded loud and clear.
