President Joe Biden has picked up another union endorsement.

Biden’s campaign announced Monday morning that he had picked up an endorsement from the Brotherhood of Railroad Signalmen, which adds to his haul of well over a dozen union backers.

“President Biden campaigned on being the most pro-worker and pro-union president in American history, and he’s proud to have earned the support of labor unions representing millions of hardworking Americans who know Joe Biden has their back,” Biden campaign manager Julie Chavez Rodriguez said.

More than $66 billion has been invested in rail infrastructure under Biden’s watch, according to Rodriguez, which is part of the president’s plan to boost industrial employment and union jobs.

The BRS comprises more than 10,000 employees throughout the United States and Canada who install, repair, and maintain railroad signaling systems.

Biden, who frequently dubs himself the most pro-union president in history, picked up the endorsement of 17 different unions in June. He has made manufacturing jobs and the Midwest major focuses of his campaign, as he successfully flipped Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania away from then-President Donald Trump in 2020 and wants to keep those states in his column.

There remain a few holdouts to Biden’s union love. The United Auto Workers has withheld its endorsement over Biden’s electric vehicle push, which the union fears could leave its workers behind.

Trump has tried to take advantage by asking the UAW to endorse him, though that remains extremely unlikely.

UAW President Shawn Fain did appear alongside Biden at a Nov. 9 rally in Illinois after the pair participated in a largely successful strike, though an endorsement remains outstanding.
