Blinken appears to dress children up as Zelensky and Ukrainian flag for Halloween

Secretary of State Antony Blinken is under fire after appearing to dress his young children up as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and the Ukrainian flag for the White House trick-or-treating event on Monday.

Images taken at the event hosted by President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden show Blinken next to his children as his son wears a Zelensky-style dark green shirt with an American/Ukrainian pin and his daughter is draped in gold and blue.

Blinken, himself, did not dress up for the occasion, and neither did the president.

Commentators on X were quick to attack the secretary of state for his children’s costumes.

“Surrealism takes over reality,” one user posted.

“US Secretary of State, Blinken, dresses his son up as Zelensky for Halloween, he goes around asking Biden and others for ‘Treats’. Lmfao”

“WW3 Clown Show: Antony Blinken dressed his son in a Zelensky costume and his daughter in a Ukrainian flag at the White House Halloween party,” another commentator wrote.
