BREAKING: 20-Year-Old Identified as Gunman in Attempted Assassination of President Trump
The New York Post has identified the gunman who attempted to assassinate former President Donald Trump at a rally on Saturday. The suspect is reported to be 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks.
According to reports, authorities recovered an AR-style rifle at the scene.
New York Post reported:
The gunman who attempted to assassinate former President Donald Trump Saturday was identified as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, sources told The Post.
Crooks, of Bethel Park, Pa., squeezed off shots — one of which grazed Trump in the ear — at an outdoor rally in Butler, just outside Pittsburgh.
Sources said Crooks was planted on a roof of a manufacturing plant more than 130 yards away from the stage at Butler Farm Show grounds.

BREAKING: Thomas Matthew Crooks ID’d as the suspect who shot at Donald Trump at his PA rally.
Crooks was 20-years-old from Bethel Park, Pennsylvania which was about 40 miles south of the Butler rally.
An AR-15 was reportedly recovered at the scene.
