BREAKING: Bomb Threat on United Flight Arriving at DC’s Reagan Airport Causes Ground Stop for All Flights – UPDATE: Sec. Sean Duffy Confirms Bomb Threat was a Hoax

UPDATE: Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy confirmed that the aircraft was cleared by law enforcement and the flight landed safely.

A reported bomb threat on an inbound flight to Washington, DC’s Reagan Washington National Airport halted all flights in and out of the Nation’s capital on Tuesday.

United Flight #512 landed from Houston, Texas, this morning.

Per CNN’s Pete Muntean, sources say the airplane with the alleged bomb is isolated on the east side of the field.

The Federal Aviation Administration has issued a ground stop for all flights until at least 1:30 pm ET.

Video from the scene shows the isolated aircraft near the runway:

Audio from the air traffic control tower shows the air traffic controller notifying the pilot of the threat on the plane. “We have an unconfirmed bomb report for your flight. We’ve got to get you away from the airport,” the controller tells the pilot.
