The American Battlefield Trust is raising funds to rehabilitate the last bit of an abandoned Gettysburg country club that saw intense fighting during the three-day fight in 1863.
The ABT and other preservation groups purchased it and are eyeing renovations when they take possession next month.

Over two decades, the ABT has helped protect nearly 1,240 acres across the Gettysburg battlefield.
