There’s a chance for Panera Bread customers who ordered delivery from the mobile app to receive two vouchers for free food.
Panera didn’t admit any wrongdoing but recently agreed to a $2 million settlement in three separate lawsuits, which accused the soup and sandwich giant of misleading customers about how much they would pay for delivery orders. Customers said they had paid more than they were expected to pay based on Panera’s representations.
Customers who made a mobile delivery or website purchase between Oct. 1, 2020, and Aug. 21, 2021, have until June 10 to submit a valid claim form to receive their voucher or $12 in cash.

Each voucher is valued at $9.50 for a total voucher value of $19. Those who choose a cash option will receive their payments through PayPal, Venmo, or another electronic payment. However, payments may be reduced to a sum less than $12 if there are too many claims to be covered by the net settlement fund.
Eligible customers can submit a claim online and will have to provide a phone number linked to an account that made the purchase. Customers who received an email notice will also have to submit a class member ID.
