Comer says Biden’s bank records traced to 10 family members: ‘Going to bring them all in’

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) said he now has the bank records Republicans have sought amid their investigation into President Joe Biden’s alleged “criminal bribery” and money laundering schemes involving Hunter Biden and foreign nationals.

Comer told Hannity those bank records have been traced to 10 members of the president’s family. Comer said he plans to “bring them all in.”

“We’re going to bring them all in, and we now have the bank records,” Comer said. “And, remember, you asked about specific transactions. We didn’t know about the two checks to Joe Biden until three weeks ago. It has taken a long time to subpoena and obtain all the bank records. And I don’t think the average American can imagine how many different bank accounts and how many different banks and how many different companies and most of them were shell companies — if not all of them — that we were dealing with. We had to find them all. We had to request the information to subpoena the information, and then hope and work with the banks to obtain it. We have it all.”

“Then the hard part, we had to trace the money. Now we have traced the money to where we can look at specific transactions, trace them back to the country of their origin, and trace them all the way through the shell companies — all the way through the money laundering processes to 10 different Biden family members,” Comer continued.

Comer said when those Biden family members appear before Congress, he expects them to answer “specific questions.”

Comer also reacted to the Washington Examiner’s report that White House officials would not provide evidence to support Biden’s claim that those two checks, which totaled $240,000 and were received from his brother James, represented paybacks for loans.

“We do not have any evidence that they were loans — far from it, and now we are pressing the White House,” Comer said. “If [they] have the evidence, just show it to all of us.”

“The president has a serious problem on his hands here,” the Kentucky Republican added. “But that is just one transaction. We have many more. That’s why we’re going to ask the Bidens specific questions.”

Comer has said the checks raise concerns regardless of whether they represent loan repayments, as the timing of the transactions would suggest the president’s financial standing was directly tied to the fortunes of his family’s business dealings.
