A woman had entered the store, started roaming around, and appeared to look at security cameras when a gang of would-be criminals made its way into the location carrying a sledgehammer.
The group made its way to the jewelry portion of the store, but before anyone could make off with anything, Marcu appeared wielding a revolver, the report noted.
The suspects scattered at the sight of an armed Marcu.
“I didn’t want to shoot anybody, but I have to make a statement,” Marcu said. “Too many bad things have happened. Stores get robbed left and right.”
