Dick Cheney’s endorsement makes 2024 choice ‘very clear’: Tulsi Gabbard – Washington Examiner

Former Hawaii lawmaker and ex-Democrat Tulsi Gabbard offered a “simple message” to voters who are still undecided, stating that a recent endorsement in the 2024 election should make the choice “very clear.”

With roughly two months left before Election Day, Harris recently received the endorsement of former Vice President Dick Cheney, who said his support for her stems from his duty “to put country above partisanship to defend our Constitution.” Cheney’s political record, including his support for the Bush administration’s yearslong war in Iraq, has been criticized for years by many Democrats and some Republicans, with Gabbard, a veteran, referencing it in her message to undecided voters.

“Dick Cheney has just made the choice very clear,” Gabbard said on Tucker Carlson’s live tour. “A vote for Kamala Harris is a vote for Dick Cheney, the architect of everything that has gone wrong in the Middle East for the last few decades.”

Remember: A vote for Kamala is a vote for Dick Cheney, Hillary Clinton, and the woke warmongering cabal. A vote for Kamala is a vote for war, war, and more war — and with it, more infringement on our liberties in the name of “national security.” pic.twitter.com/Ejtg6LCCb6

Gabbard, who has endorsed former President Donald Trump, added that Harris said she was “honored” to have Cheney’s endorsement. The former congresswoman said she was “sickened” by Harris’s reaction to his endorsement, arguing that he was responsible for the deaths of many U.S. soldiers in the Middle East.

On X, Gabbard cautioned that voting for Harris is a vote for Cheney, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and “the woke warmongering cabal.” She added that a Harris presidency would bring about more wars across the world, which would lead to more infringement of freedoms “in the name of ‘national security.’”

Gov. Doug Burgum (R-ND) also rebuked Democrats for welcoming Cheney’s endorsement, noting that the party had previously called the former vice president a “genocidal war criminal.”

Gabbard cautioned against voting for Harris during Carlson’s visit to Colorado Springs, Colorado, which is part of a larger tour he is conducting across the country. His previous stops include discussions with Russell Brand in Phoenix and Glenn Beck in Salt Lake City.

Carlson’s next tour stop is scheduled for Wednesday, when he will be joined by former Secret Service agent and talk show host Dan Bongino in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Other scheduled guests and stops include Megyn Kelly in Kansas City, Missouri, and Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
