DNC trolls Lara Trump’s plan to spend RNC funds on Don’s legal fees: ‘Just spend it all’ – Washington Examiner

Democratic National Committee Chairman Jamie Harrison trolled former President Donald Trump‘s pick for Republican National Committee co-chair, Lara Trump, imploring her to spend all the RNC’s funds on her father-in-law’s legal fees.

Lara Trump has expressed a desire to use RNC funds for Donald Trump’s legal fees as he battles four criminal indictments, among other legal troubles. Harrison, speaking on the MediasTouch podcast on Thursday, jokingly said he was all for her becoming RNC co-chairwoman.

“I don’t know if you all know I am the No. 1 supporter of Lara Trump,” Harrison said jokingly.

“I want her to spend every penny, every single penny they get into Donald Trump’s legal fees. Go, Lara, go. You are so fantastic. Your vision is great; spend all on his legal fees, just spend it all,” he added.

Harrison then went into how he plans to spend DNC funds for infrastructure to get Biden and other Democrats elected in November.

“I’ll spend all the money that we have on building the infrastructure, continuing to have the biggest voter protection program that we’ve ever had, making sure that our state parties are funded so that they can get the message out on how Democrats have delivered,” Harrison said. “I’ll do the things that a party should be doing instead of spending money on legal fees or books or whatever.”
