There’s no slowing down 77-year-old country music star Dolly Parton. The blonde bombshell has been promoting her latest album, Rockstar, and her new book, Behind the Seams: My Life in Rhinestones. Now, she has one more item to add to her busy schedule.

The legendary singer will be the halftime performer for the Dallas Cowboys game against the Washington Commanders on Nov. 23.

The Cowboys announced that Parton would be in Arlington, Texas, at AT&T Stadium to perform during the game on Thanksgiving.

“I’ll see y’all this Thanksgiving!” Parton said as she rang a Salvation Army bell in a social media post.

The performance will be a rare one for Parton, who has publicly stated that she has no plans to tour because she wants to be near her husband.

“I don’t tour anymore,” Dolly said in a recent interview with Good Housekeeping. “I’ve got so many business things I’m doing. And my husband and I are getting older — he’s a little older than I am — and I kind of need to be with him.”

Parton clarified that she has no plans to retire at 77.

“I don’t plan to ever retire unless my husband was sick and really needed me or I was sick. That’d be the only two reasons I would ever quit. And let’s hope that never happens,” she said in the interview.

She recently revealed that she avoids talking about politics because she doesn’t want to “lose half your audience,” and she said she “hates politics.”
