“Don’t They Have to Kill You Now?” – Tucker Carlson and President Trump Discuss the Historic Assault by the Demonic Left (VIDEO) | The Gateway Pundit | by Jim Hoft

Tucker Carlson’s long-awaited interview with President Trump premiered at 8:55pm ET on Wednesday at the same time that the so-called Republican Primary candidates took the stage for the first 2024 GOP presidential debate.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Tucker Carlson released a tweet earlier today announcing his interview tonight with President Donald Trump and taking a shot at Fox, his former employer, in his announcement.

During their conversation Tucker Carlson noted how the Democrats have thrown everything at President Trump and his popularity continues to soar with voters. They’re not fooled.

Tucker asked, “Don’t they have to kill you now?”

From the interview:

Tucker Carlson: Is not working. Your poll numbers go up. When they rated Mar a lago in August of last year, your numbers went up. They can indict you 20 times, and you’re not going to lose the Republican primary because of that.

President Trump: Well, it makes it look even more ridiculous. I mean, the four indictments and maybe there’ll be more, I don’t know. These people are crazy.

Tucker Carlson: But they’re counterproductive. So if you chart it out, it’s an escalation is what I’m saying. So what’s next? After try to put you in prison for the rest of your life? That’s not working. So don’t they have to kill you now?

President Trump: I think the people of our country don’t get enough credit for how smart they are. And I’m not sure I would have said this ten years ago, but they get it. They really get it. When somebody gets indicted, your poll numbers go down. When somebody gets indicted, you announce, ladies and gentlemen, I’ll be leaving to spend time with my family and to fight for the rest of my life on this stuff. But you’re out of politics. I got indicted four times. All trivia nonsense. Bullshit. It’s all bullshit. It’s horrible. When you look and you look at what they’re doing.
