Virginia households have 18 days to file an application through the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program and receive a payment.

LIHEAP offers low-income families benefits to help pay for heating and cooling systems. Residents of the Old Dominion must file an application by Nov. 14 to receive financial assistance through the program to pay their heating bills as the winter months approach.
