EXCLUSIVE: Pro-Life Group Spends Record Amount Fighting Dem ‘Extremism’ On Abortion Ahead Of Election

Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America (SBA) has reached millions of critical voters in key swing states to deny Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris and other pro-abortion candidates the vote on Tuesday, Nov. 5.

The group has reached over 10 million voters in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Montana, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin combating lies about pro-life laws and warning of pro-abortion Democrats’ “extreme” stance, according to SBA’s 2024 election report first obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation. SBA has invested over $92 million into the efforts in the 2024 election, compared to $56 million in 2020.

SBA is specifically working to educate voters on the Women’s Health Protection Act (WHPA), which “would obliterate nearly every pro-life law in the nation,” according to SBA, and is supported by Harris. Over 3,400 pro-life election volunteers have been deployed nationwide with millions of voters reached through online ad campaigns, in-person canvassing, mail pieces and phone campaigns.

“Poll after poll shows that around two-thirds or more of Americans support limiting abortion after the first trimester or on the 15-week mark, when science shows they can feel pain,” Kelsey Pritchard, SBA’s director of state public affairs, told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “If people in these states understand that these ballot measures go so far beyond that to have no limit whatsoever, that’s very unpopular.”

Along with the presidential election, voters in Arizona, Michigan, Montana, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Wisconsin will also have to choose between candidates who have pledged to protect life and those who support limitless abortion through all nine months, the report detailed. Many states also face initiatives to add abortion amendments to their constitutions.

Pro-Life Canvassers Make 4 Million Visits to Key Voters to Defeat Harris & Walz

SBA Pro-Life America and its partner Women Speak Out PAC have made 4 million visits to voters’ homes during the 2024 election cycle, with more than 1 million visits by student canvassers.

Voters in Arizona will have to decide between Democratic senate candidate Ruben Gallego — who voted in favor of the WHPA, which pro-life advocates dubbed the Abortion-on-Demand Until Birth Act in Congress — and Republican Kari Lake, according to SBA. Over 300 canvassers have been deployed in the state and nearly half a million voters have been reached through SBA’s efforts.

SBA’s messaging hinges on advocating for legislation that the average voter supports, according to the group. Most voters, even those that support abortion, “believe there should be reasonable limits on abortion to protect the health and safety of women and their unborn children,” SBA’s report said. Michigan Democratic senate candidate Elissa Slotkin has supported federal legislation that would prevent states from creating their own abortion laws and is in favor of allowing minors to receive abortions without parental knowledge or consent, according to SBA. SBA’s campaign has reached over 750,000 voters in the state advocating for pro-life candidates such as Republican Senate candidate Mike Rogers in Michigan.

SBA has also been encouraging GOP officials to engage more with the pro-life issue, Pritchard told the DCNF.

“We really need a counter voice and people who have a platform to push back and so that’s really what we have encouraged,” Pritchard said. “We’ve seen incredible leadership from Governor Ron DeSantis in Florida, and we’ve got a really good shot at winning Florida because of the way he’s exposed the lies. We’re seeing Senator Pete Ricketts in Nebraska has stepped up. In South Dakota, where I live, Governor Kristi Noem and Representative Dusty Johnson, they’re all making sure that voters know what they’re voting on, and they’re not being deceived by abortion in the street abortion lobby.”

Several states have seen losses to pro-life efforts, with states like Michigan enshrining a right to abortion into the state constitution in 2022. Many current abortion ballot initiatives have faced legal challenges, but will ultimately be up for vote on Tuesday.
