A post shared on social media purports musician Rihanna said she will release new music if Vice President Kamala Harris wins the 2024 election.
President-elect Donald Trump has announced Susie Wiles will be the White House chief of staff and will be the first female in the position, NBC reported. Wiles served as his co-campaign chair, according to the outlet.
A post shared on Instagram purported that Rihanna wanted to release music in the wake of Harris’s potential victory in the 2024 election. The post shared an image of Harris in a blue blazer and one of Rihanna as she touches her face.
The caption reads, “Rihanna says she will announce a song tonight if Kamala Harris wins the presidential election: ‘If Kamala wins, I’ll drop a song. Just do what y’all gotta do in order to make that happen.’”
This is not the first time misinformation surrounding the election has circulated online. Check Your Fact recently debunked a claim a Facebook video shows a “ballot mule” in Lincoln, Nebraska.
