New York reveals a plan that would require social media platforms to gain parental consent before they use algorithms to curate content for children, The Wall Street Journal reported. The plan is currently only tentatively agreed upon in the state legislature.

A post shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, alleges Anderson vanished shortly after he sold the social media platform. The post shared an image of two people holding a framed photo of Anderson with gloves.

The caption reads, “This is Tom Anderson. At 35 years old, he sold Myspace for $580M. Then he bizarrely vanished.”
