A post made on X claims that Minnesota Governor Tim Walz made a post claiming Russian scientists created Hurricane Milton. The caption reads, “🇺🇸🇷🇺 US Democratic Party member Tim Walz, who is on Kamala Harris’ team, believes that Russian scientists “somehow” managed to change the Earth’s gravitational field using advanced technology. “Hurricane Milton was artificially created by Russian scientists,” he wrote.🤣🤡.”

The post contains a screenshot of a fabricated post that contains Walz’s username and profile picture in its upper lefthand corner. The fabricated post reads, “I have received indisputable proof that hurricane Milton was artificially created by Russian scientists. They have somehow managed to alter Earth’s gravitational field using the advanced technologies we know they possess.” This post does not appear on Walz’s X account.
