Macron has called for countries to stop selling weapons to Israel if they want to have a ceasefire in the Middle East, according to The New York Times. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu criticized Macron’s statements, the outlet reported.

There is no evidence that Macron has met with Khamenei. Check Your Fact could not find any media outlets who have reported on any such alleged meeting. A 2014 Vox article stated that Khamenei has not left Iran, though Check Your Fact could not find any instance of the Iranian leader leaving Iran in the decade after that article was published.

Logically Facts also debunked this claim. (Fact Check: Did Iran Conduct A Nuclear Test That Triggered An Earthquake?)
