Social media users have been sharing a video, claiming it shows Putin being arrested. One user wrote, “More footage emerges showing Putin being taken to a Mongolian prison following Zelensky’s order for his arrest.”

Through a keyword search, Check Your Fact found that the video was taken during Putin’s arrival in Mongolia. It shows him being escorted from the airport, not being arrested.

Ukraine asked Mongolia to arrest Putin, who has been accused of war crimes by the International Criminal Court (ICC), according to the BBC News. The ICC says that Mongolia has an obligation to abide by ICC regulations but that it did not mean it had to arrest Putin, the outlet reported.
