Fact Check:

Trump held a rally at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on October 27th. Social media users are claiming that 200,000 people were in attendance for the October 27th rally.

“🚨RIGHTFUL PRESIDENT TRUMP JUST JOINED MELANIA ON STAGE TO NEARLY 200,000 AT HISTORIC MSG RALLY! I’m at this rally and this is the BIGGEST CROWD I’VE EVER SEEN! No BUSSES or TWERKING RAPPERS needed! NEW YORK IS TRUMP COUNTRY!” one user wrote.

Newsweek reported that the rally was a sold out event and that the venue could fit 19,500 attendees. According to The Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation at Harvard Kennedy School, Trump’s 2024 political rallies have averaged 5,600 attendees per rally.
