California will finish sending out payments for November from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program to low-income households in nine days.
The SNAP program, known as CalFresh in the Golden State, began issuing payments on the 1st of the month and ends Nov. 10. Payments will be distributed to qualified low-income households depending on the recipient’s case number.
FOOD STAMPS: CONNECTICUT NOVEMBER SNAP PAYMENTS WORTH UP TO $1,751 END IN TWO DAYS
For example, if a case number ends in 1, California recipients can expect to see their CalFresh benefits on Nov. 1. If a case number ends in 2, SNAP benefits will be available on Nov. 2. The payment dates continue until Nov. 10, when those with a case number ending in 0 will receive their payment.
The exact payment amount a household will receive depends upon multiple factors, including household size, income limits, and additional assets. The maximum payment is $291 for a household of one, $973 for a household of four, and $1,751 for a household of eight. Up to $219 is added to a household’s food stamps for each member after eight.
