I love South Florida, I love pizza … this is my kind of pie!
A pizzeria in South Florida is taking “being edgy” to a whole other level, doing so by mixing the elements of a delicious pizza and a certain reptile who fell victim to an Arctic sweep in the Sunshine State.
Be introduced to Bucks Coal Fired Pizza, located in North Palm Beach. And more notably, be introduced to what they brand as the very first iguana pizza in the history of the planet. (RELATED: Rare Bus-Sized Phantom Jellyfish Spotted On Deep Sea Video Off Coast Of Argentina)
When the Sunshine State experienced temperatures that were freezing people’s tails off, like yours truly, an executive order was issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for both Feb. 1 and 2, which allowed locals to remove iguanas that were cold-stunned without having to obtain a permit. Green iguanas are an invasive species that cause damage to the local economy and environment, per the FWC.
Getting a group of cold-stunned iguanas together, content creator Ryan Izquierdo took them to Bucks Coal Fired Pizza, and as you’re about to see, they made pizza with them. Yes, literal iguana pizza.
Feast your eyes on the “Everglades Pie,” ladies and gentlemen, topped with venison, bacon, cheese, olive oil, and of course, iguana.

I’m having pizza a little bit later for the Super Bowl, no iguana though, but I’m thinking I might have to make a late request.
