Former Miss Israel Yityish “Titi” Aynaw spoke out against the Hamas terrorist group, saying that promoting the group also promotes “the destruction of your child’s future.”

Aynaw, who was named Miss Israel in 2013, posted on social media that Hamas kidnaps “pure souls” and targets everyone regardless of their race, gender, and religion. She also claimed that “Hamas is ISIS,” the terrorist group that became known in the 2010s for videotaping and publishing videos of its forces executing civilians.

“We are not safe,” Aynaw warned in a video. “You are not safe. No one is safe from Hamas. If you promote Hamas, you promote the destruction of your child’s future. Stop Hamas. Hamas is ISIS.”

Aynaw also criticized the Black Lives Matter organization for its response to the Hamas attack on Israel, claiming that members of the organization rallied against violence over the death of George Floyd but have failed to speak out against Hamas for kidnapping women and children. She asked viewers to pray for Israel “because we can’t breathe,” a reference to what Floyd said prior to his death in 2020.

Multiple BLM chapters across the United States have expressed support for Gaza amid the conflict between Israel and Hamas, with Hamas being the largest militant group in Palestinian territories.

Aynaw was crowned Miss Israel at 21 years old in 2013, making her the first black woman to achieve the title.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has labeled Hamas as part of an “axis of evil” with “Iran, Hezbollah, and their minions,” and he compared Israel’s conflict with Hamas to a fight “between the children of light and the children of darkness.”

Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced Monday that President Joe Biden will visit Israel on Wednesday to reaffirm the U.S.’s “solidarity with Israel.” He also said the president will travel to Amman, Jordan, where he will be hosted by the king of Jordan and meet with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.
