Project 21 Chairman Horace Cooper said Tuesday that due to the “quicker loss of life” from homicide rates, black Americans are now rejecting the Democrat party in “record numbers.”
Cooper appeared on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle” discussing the issues that Black Americans are facing in America, noting the high crime rate for the minority group. Following a video clip from Washington, D.C.’s Democratic Mayor Muriel Bowser talking about the city’s crime, Cooper emphasized one of the ways Bowser is reportedly attempting to fix the issue. “You left out the most exciting clip where they’re gonna give out Apple air tags so that when your car gets stolen, you can track it down. And ‘great – let me figure this out. I’m a law-abiding citizen, a criminal took my car. I’m gonna go and meet my criminal.’ What good can come from that?” Cooper stated.
Cooper noted that the “neo-Marxist cultural attack” on Americans has “led to a quicker loss of life for black Americans. The age at which blacks are dying because of the crime wave is dropping relative to the rest of the population.”
“In fact, in 21, and 22, the Centers for Disease Control listed for black Americans something that it hasn’t listed for any other group. It says loss of life by homicide, one of the top 10 causes of death – not for Asians, not for whites, not for Native Americans, but for black Americans,” Cooper stated.
The number of homicides in 2021 increased substantially compared to 2020 for six major Democrat cities disproportionately affecting Black Americans, according to crime data. Black murder victims in Chicago alone jumped from 70 percent in 2020 to 81 percent in 2021. “There’s good news though, because the open season that is leading to the CVS closing in your community, so that grandma has to take a bus to get to pick up her prescriptions, and it costs more money at this new location,” Cooper stated.
“The good news is that black Americans are telling anyone who will listen. They are no longer staying on the Democrat plantation. Record numbers of black Americans are showing up on social media and they’re telling pollsters they’re not going along with this. They want the America that they’re that our founders fought for.”
Support for President Joe Biden from Black Americans is reportedly slipping in the polls for the 2024 elections. During the 2020 election, Biden had reportedly had 90 percent of the Black vote, however, according to a recent CNN poll the president is now only holding 74 percent in a hypothetical matchup between him and former President Donald Trump.
