Fr. James Altman and Fr. Andre Mahana Will Join Us in Las Vegas This Weekend

Fr. James Altman, a priest from the Diocese of La Crosse, Wisconsin, whose removal from active ministry in July 2021 by Bishop William Callahan stemmed from a series of very thoughtful and thought-provoking statements which were contrary to some leaders in the church at that time.

Altman gained national prominence in August 2020 when he released a widely circulated video asserting that Catholics could not support the Democratic Party due to its stance on abortion, famously declaring, “You cannot be Catholic and be a Democrat. Period.” This heartfelt message, coupled with his subsequent embrace of sedevacantism — a position rejecting the validity of Pope Francis’s pontificate — positioned him as courageous fighter for the truth in many Catholic circles as the church was under attack at the same time as the US in the Biden years.

Fr. Andre Mahana is the President of Mission of Hope and Mercy. This mission, consecrated under the intercession of Saint Rafka (Rebecca), the Lebanese Catholic Maronite nun and saint who died March 23, 1914, and the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary, the source of Divine Mercy and Divine Grace. The Mission of Hope and Mercy acts as a prophet who warns and educates, a soldier who protects and saves, a Good Samaritan who ministers and restores, and an apostle of Christ who is a peacemaker and herald of the Good News.

On President Trump’s inauguration night in his first Administration, Fr. Andrew Mahana exorcised the White House and presented a statue of Our Lady of Fatima and a rosary to the then newly sworn in president. July 13 was the anniversary of Our Lady’s appearances at Fatima. It is also the day President Trump survived an assassin’s bullet one year ago.
