Gaza protesters repeatedly heckle Biden during abortion rally: ‘Genocide Joe!’

At least 14 pro-Palestinian protesters crashed President Joe Biden‘s abortion rights rally in Virginia on Tuesday, repeatedly interrupting the president’s remarks from start to finish.

Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, first lady Jill Biden, and second gentleman Doug Emhoff had opted to hold a “Restore Roe” rally the same day as the New Hampshire primary.

Shortly after the president took the stage, introducing himself as “Jill Biden’s husband,” the first protester interrupted Biden’s speech.

Biden continued speaking after the protester, who had shouted “Genocide Joe!” was removed by security, yet shortly after he started, another protester stood up in another part of the theater.

“You don’t care about women,” another protester continued. “Women in Gaza are being murdered!”

The crowd attempted to drown out each subsequent protester with chants of “Four more years!” and “Let’s go, Joe!”

“This could go for a while,” the president himself riffed before continuing with his remarks. “They’ve got this planned out.”

A 12th protester yelled “Genocide Joe has got to go!” near the president’s conclusion, and a 13th and 14th joined him after the president said “let me close with this.”

The anti-Biden protests continued outside the George Mason University venue on the frigid Tuesday afternoon. Crowds demanded a ceasefire in Gaza after months of Israel’s bombardment in retaliation for the Oct. 7 Hamas terrorist attack. Biden has stood by Israel’s right to defend itself, though he has grown uncomfortable with the death toll in Gaza, which has topped 25,000, according to the Hamas-run health ministry.
