Globalist Establishment Cancelled Elections in Romania and Barred the Favorite Candidate, but Right Wingers Simion and Gavrila Are Leading the Polls in the Runup to May Vote

Right-wingers George Simion and Anamaria Gavrila are leading the polls for the Presidential Elections in Romania.

The Liberal-Globalist establishment has been doing all it can to keep Romania from electing a right-winger that rejects the EU’s Globalist policies, as well as the pro-war stance by the current government.

In order to do that, Romanian officials and Judges have gone the extra-mile, cancelling the first round of elections won by Calin Georgescu and eventually blocking his candidacy even though he was the clear favorite.

After Georgescu left the race, two right-wing candidates, George Simion and Anamaria Gavrila, have confirmed their candidacies, and – to no-one’s surprise, they are both showing up at the lead of opinion polls in the run-up to the May election.

Reuters reported:

“NATO and EU member Romania is due to repeat its two-round presidential election on May 4 and 18 after the top court voided the original vote in December amid accusations of Russian meddling in favor of far-right candidate Calin Georgescu, who had been leading in the polls.

After Georgescu’s candidacy for the rerun was blocked by the top court, both George Simion and Anamaria Gavrila, prominent figures on Romania’s hard right, stepped forward, with an agreement that one would stand aside if both candidacies were approved.”

By now, Romania’s Central Electoral Bureau has accepted both candidacies – but at this point there is no decision on who – if anyone – will step aside.

“Simion, leader of Romania’s second-largest party, the Alliance of Uniting Romanians (AUR) and Gavrila, leader of the Young People Party (POT), were supporters of Georgescu and have been stoking up nationalist fervor with their fiery rhetoric.”

The AtlasIntel survey showed that both Simion or Gavrila would secure most votes in the first round.

“Simion would secure 30.4% of the vote in the first round if he was the far-right candidate, while Gavrila would get 30.2% if she ran, according to the survey.”

Bucharest mayor Nicusor Dan, an independent, is expected to win the decisive second round due to a broad appeal across various voter demographics.

The opinion poll, however, shows many voters remain undecided.
