GOP Rep. Burchett Suffers Broken Rib After Horse Kicks Him in Chest
GOP Congressman Tim Burchett (TN) suffered a broken rib after a horse kicked him in the chest on Sunday.
“Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) went to the hospital on Sunday with a broken rib after a horse kicked him in the chest, according to his office,” the Washington Examiner reported.
“While working on his farm over the weekend, Congressman Burchett was accidentally kicked by a horse. He suffered a broken rib and bruising but hasn’t missed a beat,” said Will Garrett, a spokesman for Burchett, according to the Examiner.
Burchett’s spokesperson said there are no changes to the Tennessee Rep’s schedule following the incident.
Burchett released a video on Tuesday as he pressed on with his busy schedule.

Burchett’s daughter was severely injured after an accident with one of their horses in 2022. She had five broken ribs and a broken wrist.
