Graham rips Biden administration’s approach to Iran being ‘about as successful as their border policy’

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) slammed President Joe Biden for his administration’s policy regarding Iran and the southern border, saying both leave the country vulnerable.

Graham, while speaking on Fox News’s America Reports, discussed his problems with the Biden administration’s policy amid the war in Israel, which began on Saturday after Hamas terrorists killed and kidnapped hundreds.

ISRAEL ORDERS ‘TOTAL SIEGE’ OF GAZA IN AFTERMATH OF UNPRECEDENTED TERROR ATTACK BY HAMAS

“To the Biden administration, your appeasement policies toward Iran is not working. To the Squad, shut the hell up. You’re emboldening the enemy, you are a disgrace. You are siding with terrorists over democracy, called Israel. You have lost your perspective here. I am confident most Democrats do not agree with the Squad. Bottom line is, Biden and Obama appeased the Iranians to the point where we are today. If you pull the plug on Ukraine and let Putin get away with this, he will not stop. We will be in a war between NATO and Russia,” Graham said.

The South Carolina Republican then said that the Biden administration’s border policy leaves the U.S. exposed to a potential “major terrorist attack,” and the administration’s policy toward Iran leaves the Israel conflict open to “escalation.”

“We have a chance to reset the world here, defeat Putin in the Ukraine, dismantle Hamas now, and tell the Iranians, ‘If you escalate any more attacks coming from Iran, we are coming after you.’ Anything short of that is going to lead to an invasion of Taiwan by China. We live in very dangerous times. The Biden administration’s approach to Iran is about as successful as their border policy. We are exposed to a major terrorist attack by an open border, we’re exposed to escalation if we don’t tell the Iranians [to] quickly stand down,” Graham said.

Israel declared war against Hamas, the first time it had declared war since 1973, shortly after the attacks on its country, which saw more than 700 Israelis killed.

A report from the Wall Street Journal suggested that Iran was directly involved in planning the initial attacks against Israel by Hamas.
