Vice President Kamala Harris will join former Wyoming Republican Rep. Liz Cheney for three more campaign events in “blue wall states” on Monday.
For months, the vice president has been courting disaffected, anti-Trump Republican votes. Cheney and her father, former Vice President Dick Cheney, have repeatedly come out in support of Harris, and the younger Cheney attended a “Republicans for Harris” event just last week.
On Monday, Harris and Cheney will appear alongside conservative radio host Charlie Sykes and veteran GOP strategist Sarah Longwell in Chester County, Pennsylvania, Oakland County, Michigan, and Waukesha County, Wisconsin, three areas where former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley overperformed against former President Donald Trump during the 2024 Republican presidential primary.
“At the events, Harris and Cheney plan to warn about the risk of a second Trump term for America and lay out the Vice President’s agenda for a New Way Forward for the American people that focuses on their needs, not the division and chaos of Donald Trump,” Harris campaign officials said in a statement.
At her Republicans for Harris rally earlier this week, the vice president implored voters to put “country over party” and help her block a second Trump presidency.

“America must heed this warning because anyone who tramples on our democratic values as Donald Trump has, anyone who has called for the ‘termination of the Constitution of the United States’ as Donald Trump has, must never again stand behind the seal of the president of the United States,” Harris said.
“No matter your party, no matter who you voted for last time, there is a place for you in this campaign,” she closed. “The coalition we have built has room for everyone who is ready to turn the page on the chaos and instability of Donald Trump and I pledge to you to be a president for all Americans.”
