House GOP Blocks Vote to Require Debate on Whether to Release the Epstein Files – Blocks Democrats From Having House Floor Control

House Republicans blocked a Democratic effort to require a debate and vote on releasing the Epstein files to the public. The procedural vote would have given the Democrats House floor control so the Republicans unanimously voted against the effort.

Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene debunked the fake news narrative that Republicans blocked the release of the Epstein files.

A short time ago, the House Democrats forced a floor vote after Rep. Mary Gay Scanlon (D-PA) offered a motion to trigger an up or down vote on
Rep. Ro Khanna’s (D-CA) amendment to preserve and release records related to Jeffrey Epstein. They tried to attach it to an unrelated crypto bill.

The vote failed 211-210, and the full truth remains hidden.

The Gateway Pundit reported earlier that in a jaw-dropping move late Monday, House Republicans once again slammed the door shut on transparency, voting 7‑5 in the Rules Committee to block Rep. Khanna’s amendment that would have forced Bondi and the Department of Justice to publish all Epstein‑related files publicly.

Last week, Khanna (D‑CA) announced he would introduce an amendment on Tuesday, forcing a House vote to release the full trove of Epstein-related files to the public.

It’s unclear why GOPers would not welcome this transparency, especially when one considers the fact that Epstein’s real ties were to the Democrat elite.

Bill Clinton, for example, flew on Epstein’s Lolita Express at least 26 times, rubbing elbows with the p*dophile financier while jet-setting around the world.

We also know that for GOPers concerned about Trump appearing in the files, this is overblown. If the Biden regime had the goods on Trump regarding Epstein, the information would have leaked several years ago.

Editor’s note: This article was updated to report that the Republicans unanimously voted the Democrats having House floor control.
