Hudson Booksellers blocks ‘America First’ authors: MTG, Mark Levin, Kari Lake, Judge Jeanine

Claiming its shelf space at airport stores is limited, popular commuter bookseller Hudson has balked at displaying several “America First” authors, notably those published by Donald Trump Jr.’s Winning Team Publishing and even multi-bestseller Mark Levin.
In a move that drew charges of censorship, Hudson Booksellers notified Winning Team Publishing this month that it will not sell Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-GA) upcoming book, MTG. “We wish you luck with your publishing endeavors, but we will not be carrying your title,” Hudson said.

An email from the company shared with Secrets claimed that its “selection is highly subjective” and based on “sales history.” It said, “Our stores are small and our shelf space is limited so we have to make tough decisions about our title mix.”
But considering that Greene is likely to have a bestseller on her hands and Levin’s latest book, The Democrat Party Hates America, has already sold over 232,000, the suggestion that the books don’t or won’t sell is laughable, publishing insiders said.
On X, formerly Twitter, Trump wrote, “CENSORSHIP! @HudsonBooks refuses to carry AMERICA FIRST authors! They refused to carry @WinningTeamPub authors @JudgeJeanine & @KariLake. Now they are refusing @mtgreenee at airport bookstores! I also learned that they refused @marklevinshow best selling book. Why are they ignoring the silent majority?”
In early October, Levin posted on X, “I’m at LAX returning to Virginia. Hudson News doesn’t have my book.”
Barnes and Noble is also not featuring his book in many stores, he said.

Hudson had no comment or explanation. Hudson is selling the authors online.
The firm has over 1,000 stores in airports and commuter centers in 39 states. The corporate online site features a page dedicated to its “social responsibility.”
Sergio Gor, who co-founded Winning Team with Trump, told Secrets, “It makes absolutely no sense that some of the biggest names are omitted from Hudson and their airport news stores. It’s one thing when they pass on one conservative author, but it’s wholly unacceptable when every single America First author gets passed over. This seems wrong. They should have both sides represented.”
The Hudson display ban is similar to the one Levin faced at Target. But after Secrets reported on the in-store ban, the retailer reversed course.
