• Hunter Biden will face a new federal grand jury indictment on gun charges by the end of the month, the Justice Department revealed in a court filing on Wednesday.
• “The Speedy Trial Act requires that the Government obtain the return of an indictment by a grand jury by Friday, September 29, 2023, at the earliest.
• The Government intends to seek the return of an indictment in this case before that date,” the office of special counsel David Weiss said in a document filed in the US District Court for the District of Delaware.
