Hunter Biden has had a documentary crew following him around as he has been under increased public scrutiny.
The Los Angeles Times reports that for “years,” a documentary crew has been following Hunter Biden and has been backed by the first son’s close ally and Hollywood lawyer Kevin Morris.
Hunter Biden, who has rarely spoken publicly despite high-profile investigations into him while his father has been in the White House, could use a documentary film to “get the last word” on his highly publicized life and controversies, the outlet suggests.
The film crew was among the various cameras assembled outside the Capitol building in Washington last month as Hunter Biden said he would not obey the subpoena for a congressional deposition but would sit for a public hearing. At the press conference, Hunter Biden railed against the investigations by House Republicans into his family’s business dealings.
“For six years, I’ve been the target of the unrelenting Trump attack machine shouting, where’s Hunter?” he said at the press conference. “Here’s my answer, I’m right here.”
Morris, who has been a close ally to Hunter Biden for years, also reportedly went with the documentary crew to the set of the film My Son Hunter, which was distributed by Breitbart in 2022, and asked the filmmaker questions about the history of the Hunter Biden laptop, according to the Los Angeles Times.
In the report, Morris’s close relationship with Hunter Biden, which dates back to 2019, is revealed as one that has the Hollywood lawyer and first son talking regularly.
Morris has also loaned money to Hunter Biden when he owed money on taxes and other payments, with the younger Biden saying he does not know where he would be without Morris. He also said Morris has “been a brother” to him.

“What was in it for Kevin?” Hunter Biden said. “I think that you don’t truly understand or know Kevin if that’s your question.”
The embattled son of President Joe Biden was federally indicted in Delaware and California in 2023 on gun possession and tax charges, respectively. He has also been one of the targets of the House GOP’s investigations into business dealings by the Biden family.
