Israel war: Amar’e Stoudemire chastises BLM movement and politicians following Hamas’s attack

Former NBA All-Star Amar’e Stoudemire chastised Black Lives Matter supporters and U.S. politicians following the Hamas attack on Israel on Saturday.

Stoudemire, a six-time NBA All-Star who discovered his Hebrew roots before gaining Israeli citizenship in 2019, sounded off on many in the BLM movement for staying silent in the wake of the deadly attack and brutal fighting that has followed.

“I woke, man, this morning with some disturbing news out of Israel,” Stoudemire posted to his Instagram story. “That Hamas kidnapping children, putting them in cages … killing women, killing the elderly. That’s some coward s***!”

“For all y’all Black Lives Matter who ain’t saying nothing or ‘let me figure out exactly what happened before I say anything,’ f*** you!”

There is not anything to figure out about the attack on Israel, according to Stoudemire.

“It ain’t never been cool to kidnap kids and put them in cages,” he said. “It ain’t never been cool to kill women and elderly … never been, no matter where you from, what you represent, what tribe you for, don’t matter.”

Stoudemire also blasted the tactics that Hamas fighters are allegedly using, including using children as human shields.

“That’s some coward s***,” he said. “All you politicians who always have something to say on the contrary … I see you. F*** you!” he said. “All you Black Lives Matter people who always had something to say and always supported everything else, and you quiet now. F*** you, too!”

Stoudemire converted to Judaism in 2020 and played multiple seasons in the Israeli Basketball Premier League.
