Boxer and social media star Jake Paul explained that younger voters will cast their ballot this November based on who they think will best represent them, citing how this voting demographic wants “authenticity.”
The election is shaping to be a rematch between former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden, with the latter winning around 65% of voters between 18 and 24 in the 2020 election. Paul, who recently endorsed Trump and called him “the right option for the country at this time,” said that voters want a president who will represent them in “the best way possible.”
“To me, it doesn’t have to do with Democrat or Republican. It’s about which president is going to fight for us and who is going to represent us the best way possible, and that’s really what the young people in America want,” Paul said on Fox News’s Jesse Watters Primetime. “We want solutions. We don’t want all this marketing. We don’t want all the BS put in front of us. This is the smartest generation. We’ve had the most access to information and knowledge out of any other generation, so you can’t fool us, so we just want the truth, and we want authenticity.”
When asked about the problems younger voters face, Paul contended that the cost of living is too high for this demographic and that they are frustrated with mortgages when trying to buy a house. He also argued that the government needs to address health concerns about harmful products being put into foods, adding that the government should talk to the National Institutes of Health about this.
A poll from last month indicated that younger voters trust Biden more than Trump on a majority of problems facing them. The former president did lead Biden on two topics in this survey, including lowering prices and securing the southern border, with these possibly being “the defining issues of the 2024 election.”
Paul also discussed the interview that his brother, Logan Paul, is doing with Trump on his podcast, noting how Trump is meeting an important need from young voters by meeting with this voting demographic. He noted how his brother had invited Biden to join him on his podcast but that it is a matter of seeing “what happens” with this invitation.

Trump joining Logan Paul’s podcast was announced on Wednesday. The two filmed a faceoff together on the former president’s TikTok. The video has been viewed over 13.6 million times on the platform, on which Trump has over 6.2 million followers.
