The briefing is set to start at 10 a.m.

House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-LA), Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-MN), and GOP Conference Chairwoman Lisa McClain (R-MI) will join Johnson.
They are expected to address the shutdown, which was triggered on Wednesday after Republicans and Democrats failed to come to an agreement that would continue funding the government.
