Kari Lake roots for RFK Jr. to run as third-party candidate so election cheating is ‘harder’

Former gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake said a third-party run by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. would make the 2024 election more fair.

Lake appeared for an interview on the Clay Travis and Buck Sexton show Friday to share her reaction to a report that Kennedy, who is currently facing off against President Joe Biden to be the Democratic nominee for president, could possibly run as a third-party candidate.

GAVIN NEWSOM SAYS IT’S TIME ‘TO MOVE PAST’ SPECULATION ON BIDEN RUNNING

“That’s gonna make it really hard when there’s three people, three parties running in any election whether it be the Senate seat in Arizona, the presidency, it makes it a lot harder for these people to cheat because they don’t know what’s gonna be on the inside of the ballot,” Lake said. “It might be at a Democrat voting but that Democrat might be voting independent this time around to vote for RFK Jr., so I think we’re gonna see some dynamics in this election that’s going to make it harder for them to cheat.”

Lake lost the most recent Arizona gubernatorial election against Katie Hobbs and claimed the election was rigged afterward. During the interview, Lake blamed fraud, mail-in ballots, and voting machines “made by our adversaries” for elections that she calls “broken.

“It’s not comfortable being on the front lines of the election integrity fight because you get called names but I frankly — I’m 54. I don’t care what names they call me. I’m a middle-aged woman. Call me whatever you want,” Lake said. “I just wanna have a country for my children to grow up and so we are getting victory.”
