Actor Kevin Sorbo gave his own prognosis on what Hollywood needs to turn things around.

Sorbo, of Hercules fame, appeared on Fox News’s Lawrence Jones Cross Country Saturday to suggest that the film industry combat a recent uptick in demonic allusions in media with more movies that go in the opposite direction. The actor presented his own filmography as an example, with his most recent one being Miracle in East Texas.

“Everything that they seem to do, it seems God uses them for the positive thing,” Sorbo said. “I like to do movies, I like to do TV shows that have a positive thing that Hollywood used to do. Hollywood used to always put out movies that had a positive thing.”

Host Lawrence Jones lamented that Sorbo’s films aren’t picked up by many theaters because they refuse his films, but instead are only shown in small theaters. Sorbo noted that his agent once claimed the reason for that is he is outspoken on Christian and conservative values.

Sorbo is now the head of his own studio and has even directed his most recent project.

Meanwhile, the Screen Actors Guild and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, which represents about 160,000 performers, have been on strike for 57 days as of Sunday. The negotiations with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers revolve around increased wages but also for protections against artificial intelligence.

Sorbo Studios is likely not among the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers, which allows for publicity surrounding its films under strike rules.
