FBI Director Kash Patel and local Utah authorities hold a press conference on the investigation into the shooting death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
U.S. President Donald J. Trump has confirmed that a suspect is in custody.
The press conference was delayed until 9:30 AM Mountain Time, or 7:30 AM in Utah.
The killer was identified as Tyler Robinson.
Secretary Pete Hegseth from the Defense Department joined Kash Patel and local Utah leaders will be in attendance at the press conference.
President Trump announced earlier that the shooter turned himself in last night in southern Utah.
