Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) pinned the recent global crises on President Joe Biden as they began after he took office.
During Biden’s tenure, there have been a number of global conflicts, including Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan, and the Hamas attack on Israel. Rubio appeared on Fox News’s Fox News Sunday to suggest that this “is not a coincidence” and Biden’s running mate Kamala Harris, who is now running for his office, should not win.
“None of these things are coincidental,” Rubio said. “That’s what I make of it. The world is spinning into chaos because the Biden-Harris administration has been feckless. And let me argue this, it’s going to get worse if Kamala Harris is president of the United States.”
These conflicts have only worsened over recent months, with North Korean soldiers entering Ukraine on Russia’s behalf, and Iran launching more missiles at Israel. Meanwhile, Rubio criticized training imposed on the federal intelligence agencies surrounding women and those in the LGBT community.
“We should be focused on the security of our country, the threats to America not all this woke ideology that [Harris] will inject, has already tried to inject into our national security apparatus in our country,” Rubio said.

Harris has frequently met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and sparingly with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu since those respective conflicts began. Meanwhile, her opponent, Former President and Republican nominee Donald Trump has also met with Benjamin Netanyahu but denies that he’s met with Russian President Vladimir Putin since leaving office.
At the beginning of this year, Rubio endorsed Trump for president. The senator formerly ran against Trump during the 2016 Republican primary.
