Hot damn! Now this is a shark!
Authorities are warning people in Scarborough, Maine about a massive great white shark that was seen several times recently around the coastline.
Scarborough’s Marine Resource Officer originally got great white sighting reports around Scarborough Beach and Richmond Island. (RELATED: Idiot Influencer Ends Up In Hospital After Putting Octopus On His Head)
A drone video was shot Monday by David Lancaster of the shark just swimming around Richmond Island at about 10 a.m. Lancaster was able to get his drone really close to the ocean’s surface, giving us an absolutely beautiful view of the shark. And in true “Jaws” fashion, the great white had its iconic dorsal fin sticking through the water in all its glory.
The shark is estimated to be anywhere between 10-12 feet long, according to police via Fox Weather.
Officials are encouraging swimmers to keep an eye out for the shark and they will provide more information when available.

I’ve been doing a lot of fishing in Florida this summer, and I keep coming across snowbirds who keep telling me about Maine and how great it is to fish there, and how I need to go. I’ve heard it so much that it’s got me interested, and now I see this video.
I think that settles it: I need to take a trip to Maine.
